AND REPLACE
CEDAR SHAKE
As part of the cedar shake
restoration process, Freedom Wood Restoration will replace and repair
all of the loose or missing shingles. The ridge cap will be inspected and
refastened if needed. We will take all steps necessary to make sure the esthetic
value of your roofline is maintained while restoring the integrity of your
roof. We will check the valleys, chimney flashings and gutters to repair
or caulk as needed to insure a sound roofline. In areas with heavy fungi
growth caused by over-hanging trees, we will apply zinc strips to the ridge
cap area to aid in eliminating the re-growth of fungi and algae in that area.
The roofline should always be kept clear of tree branches when possible.
Tree trimming may be necessary.
